Obviously working on an injury is never a good idea, so always listen to what your physio says. Struggling with self belief is obviously a hard one but the more you practice, you should become more confident as you are putting the work in so you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
I have dealt with many set backs in Irish Dancing with not qualifying for Worlds or getting there and not recalling and even smaller competitions that haven’t gone to plan. Getting back to work after a disappointment is really hard. It’s very hard to find motivation but with my teachers always pushing me and working with me and having my parents be willing to drive me to class every week it makes me want to do better. Also the love I have for Irish dancing makes me keep going.
